One of them you won’t find in my official job description but is still personally important is serving as captain of my workplace softball team. Spring is here and with it comes the start of another season for our fledgling team Little Big Government formerly known as the Administrator Avengers. True to my Minnesota roots I am Charlie Brown's greatest as far as workplace softball managers are concerned and like many Minnesota teams in the past we have an amazing ability to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. We have yet to win a single game in three seasons of trying. a lifetime record of zero wins in three seasons so far even Charlie Brown could beat us. With our defeat you may be wondering Ghana Email List why we continue to play or better yet why I want to announce our misfortune to the world through this blog. Here’s why win or lose I’m proud of our softball team and I think it has some significant benefits for our workplace. Here are just a few areas where it has impacted employee health and wellness. Workplace Wellness Councils are the norm in Minnesota government and I bet they are where you work too. This makes sense, as it turns out that improving employee health has many benefits for employees, employers, and the world at large.
